Rad is a DICOM workstation written in Cocoa for MacOSX. Using QuickTime, OpenGL, and open source databases iRad aims to provide an easy and efficient way to review medical images from CT, MRI, ultrasound, and other DICOM sources such as angiography.

Open Source Picture Archiving and Communication System (OSPACS) for storing and displaying medical image files. This is currently been used by the Institute of Women's Health (University College London) to archive ultrasound images from the UK Collaborative Trial of Ovarian Cancer Screening (UKCTOCS) and aims to store more than 100,000 DICOM files.

RT_Image is an application developed in the Department of Radiation Oncology and MIPS at Stanford University. Coded in the Interactive Data Language (IDL, ITT Visual Information Solutions), RT_Image was originally designed in 2003 to generate radiotherapy target volumes from positron emission tomography (PET) datasets. It has since evolved to embody a variety of tools for visualizing, quantitating, and segmenting three-dimensional images.
Xphile is a free, open source radiology teaching library system for Mac OS X. The project is an effort to create an easily accessed local solution for storing and categorising radiology images and descriptions. Xphile requires a minimum of Mac OS X 10.4.
Dcmrouter is a java-solution of a "Dicom Router" which is able to recieve Dicom Objects and transmit them after manipulating with plugins.
C# ECG Toolkit is an open source software toolkit to convert, view and print electrocardiograms. The toolkit is developed using C# .NET 1.1 & 2.0. Support for ECG formats: SCP-ECG, DICOM and HL7 aECG.
DicomBrowser is an application for inspecting and modifying DICOM metadata in many files at once. A single imaging session can produce thousands of DICOM files; DicomBrowser allows users to view and edit a whole session—or even multiple sessions—at once. Users can save the original or modified files to disk, or send them across a network to a DICOM C-STORE service class provider, such as a PACS or an XNAT.
