Braid is a Client library for a portion of the IHE (Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise) transactions.

This library specifically focuses on PIX, XDS.a & XDS.b, ATNA, BPPC and XDS-SD profiles in ITI domain, and XDS-MS (Referral & Discharge Summary) and EDR content profiles in PCC domain.

IHE Gazelle Tools

The Gazelle project is aimed at developing testing tools for IHE. This tools shall test the interoperability of medical systems and the compliance of the messages send bu those systems with standards recommended by IHE.

Gazelle is replacing Kudu, the tool that was first designed to manage IHE connectathon.

HAPI (HL7 application programming interface; pronounced "happy") is an open-source, object-oriented HL7 2.x parser and encoder for HL7 version 2.x messages written in Java. This project is not affiliated with the HL7 organization; we are just writing some software that conforms to their specification. The project was initiated by University Health Network (a large multi-site teaching hospital in Toronto, Canada).
