REMITT

Rating:
Your rating: None Average: 5 (1 vote)

REMITT is a revolutionary medical information translation and transmission system, which is primarily used for preparing and submitting medical billing data.

REMITT works independent of any specific electronic medical record (EMR) or practice management (PM) system, and can interface with any EMR or PM system which implements its application programming interface (API). The first system to do so has been FreeMED.

Currently Supported Formats

  • HCFA-1500/CRM-1500
  • ANSI NSF X12 837 Professional

Currently Supported Output Types

    Model-Driven Health Tools (MDHT)

    Rating:
Your rating: None Average: 4 (3 votes)

Open Health Tools Model-Driven Health Tools (MDHT) Project is a wide-ranging open source effort to promote interoperability in healthcare infrastructure. It promotes shared artifacts between related healthcare standards and standards development organizations, and works to develop localized specifications. It also delivers a common modeling framework and tools that support seamless integration of design, publication, and runtime artifact creation.

    Medical Imaging Interaction Toolkit (MITK)

    Rating:
Your rating: None Average: 4.8 (12 votes)

The Medical Imaging Interaction Toolkit (MITK) is a free open-source software system for development of interactive medical image processing software. MITK combines the Insight Toolkit (ITK) and the Visualization Toolkit (VTK) with an application framework. As a toolkit, MITK offers those features that are relevant for the development of interactive medical imaging software covered neither by ITK nor VTK.

Core features of the MITK platform:

      EHRflex

      Rating:
Your rating: None Average: 3 (8 votes)

EHRflex is an archetype-based clinical registry system (EHR) independent of a particular reference model. It uses clinical archetypes as guidelines for the automatic generation of web interfaces, oriented to a clinical use and data introduction.

      MassChroQ

      Rating:
      No votes yet

MassChroQ (Mass Chromatogram Quantification) software performs quantification of data obtained from mass-spectrometry techniques. It is particularly well suited for peptide quantification of LC-MS (Liquid Chromatography - Mass Spectrometry) data. It performs chromatographic alignment, XIC extraction, peak detection and quantification on identified peptides, with or without isotopic labeling, on high or low resolution data and it takes into account peptide or protein fractionation.

      EtherCIS

EtherCIS (Ethereal Clinical Information System) is an Open Source platform compatible with the openEHR standard. It is design to allow simple interactions with clients using RESTful API and persist clinical data in a separate DB engine. Clinical data are exchanged using different formats:

FLAT JSON: which is a flatten representation of access path along with the corresponding field value
Canonical XML: representing an openEHR composition in standard XML
For more details on data representation in openEHR see this page

      Tolven Health Record

      Rating:
Your rating: None Average: 4 (5 votes)

The Tolven platform and ePHR and eCHR applications enable interoperability across electronic health records for consumers and clinicians. Using Java, EJB3, Faces, Facelets, AJAX, relational database, and LDAP for security.

Your rating: None Average: 2.6 (12 votes)

GastrOS is an endoscopic reporting software based on open standards: openEHR and MST. Built upon stable reference model & driven in runtime by Archetypes. It is part of our research at the University of Auckland to study maintainability & interoperability.

      Features are:

      • Uses openEHR Archetypes and Templates
      • Based on the international standard terminology - MST
      • Dynamic GUI creation and data binding
      • Can create endoscopy reports
      • Can be extended by modifying the model - no coding

      Res Medicinae

      Rating:
Your rating: None Average: 3.6 (5 votes)

Res Medicinae is to become a comprising software solution for use in Medicine which combines intuitive ease of use with great flexibility, reached through the usage of CYBOP technology. It wants to adhere to common standards for medical software, wherever useful, and will thus be open to other systems. Using the CYBOL language, users are enabled to, themselves, modify applications.

Res Medicinae is the attempt to overcome high pricing in the realm of Medical Information Systems and to provide users with a free, stable, secure, platform-independent, extensive system.
