"pgctn" is an open source DICOM server/web-based viewing system. It is made by using PHP and javascript. PostgreSQL (also MySQL), CTN (also DCM4CHE), DCMTK and other open source software are used for the back end. The feature is to improve using the AJAX.

YaNuCa is a JavaScript program using a compact xHTML form as front end, which can easily be used with any JavaScript 1.2+ capable graphical web browser. No particular operating system is required.

ImmunoRatio

ImmunoRatio is a free web application for automated image analysis of estrogen receptor (ER), progesterone receptor (PR), and Ki-67 immunostained tissue sections.

The application:

  1. segments diaminobenzidine-stained (DAB) and hematoxylin-stained nuclei regions from the user-submitted image,
  2. calculates the percentage of DAB-stained nuclear area over total nuclear area (=labeling index), and
  3. generates a pseudo-colored result image matching the area segmentation (see the example on right side).

RODS collects and analyzes disease surveillance data in real time and has been in development since 1999 by the RODS Laboratory. In 2002, the Utah Department of Health used the software for monitoring during the Winter Olympics Games. At present, health departments and other groups in the United States, Canada and Taiwan use the software."

tinyHeb is a billing software for midwives in Germany to do the legal accounting with the health insurance companies in Germany. tinyHeb runs under Linux and Windows operating systems. It enables the midwives to produce paper and electronic bills, and meets the legal requirements of §301a, §302 SGB V, resp. The tariff structure introduced in 2007 is no problem at all.
