OMERO is client-server software for visualisation, management and analysis of biological microscope images.
From the microscope to publication, OMERO handles all your images in a secure central repository. You can view, organise, analyse and share your data from anywhere you have internet access. Work with your images from a desktop app (Windows, Mac or Linux), from the web or from 3rd party software.
MeVisLab represents a platform for image processing research and development with a focus on medical imaging. It allows fast integration and testing of new algorithms and the development of application prototypes that can be used in clinical environments.
FMRIB Software Library (FSL) is a comprehensive library of analysis tools for FMRI, MRI and DTI brain imaging data. FSL is written mainly by members of the Analysis Group, FMRIB, Oxford, UK. The Visualization Toolkit (VTK) is an open-source, freely available software system for 3D computer graphics, image processing, and visualization. It consists of a C++ class library and several interpreted interface layers including Tcl/Tk, Java, and Python. VTK supports a wide variety of visualization algorithms including scalar, vector, tensor, texture, and volumetric methods, as well as advanced modeling techniques such as implicit modeling, polygon reduction, mesh smoothing, cutting, contouring, and Delaunay triangulation.
