MITK 3M3

Rating:
Your rating: None Average: 4 (3 votes)

MITK 3M3 is a free and user-friendly application which ensures effective and efficient work, analysis, and visualization of radiological image data.

MITK 3M3 gives you access to the latest algorithms and methods from research. The cooperation between the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) and mint medical allows for a rapid transfer of leading-edge research topics, including diffusion imaging and automated segmentation techniques. MITK 3M3 will be constantly extended with the addition of new software modules to bring the latest research work to your computer.

CTSim

Rating:
Your rating: None Average: 2.3 (7 votes)

CTSim simulates the process of transmitting X-rays through phantom objects. These X-ray data are called projections. CTSim reconstructs the original phantom image from the projections using a variety of algorithms. Additionally, CTSim has a wide array of image analysis and image processing functions.

ImmunoRatio

Rating:
Your rating: None Average: 3.3 (12 votes)

ImmunoRatio is a free web application for automated image analysis of estrogen receptor (ER), progesterone receptor (PR), and Ki-67 immunostained tissue sections.

The application:

  1. segments diaminobenzidine-stained (DAB) and hematoxylin-stained nuclei regions from the user-submitted image,
  2. calculates the percentage of DAB-stained nuclear area over total nuclear area (=labeling index), and
  3. generates a pseudo-colored result image matching the area segmentation (see the example on right side).

Droid Dicom Viewer

Rating:
Your rating: None Average: 4 (5 votes)

Droid Dicom Viewer is a DICOM Viewer for the Android platform.

Droid Dicom Viewer implements a part of the DICOM standard. It reads DICOM images that are coded on 8 bits and 16 bits. It supports only grayscale not compressed DICOM files. It parses implicit and explicit (little endian and big endian) value representation (VR).

MRmap

Rating:
Your rating: None Average: 3.2 (14 votes)

MRmap is a flexible software tool that enables T1, T2, and T2* mapping from source images of multiple types of pulse sequences (IR-prepared multi-image T1 mapping, Look-Locker/ TOMROP T1 mapping, MOLLI T1 mapping; single- and multi-echo T2/ T2* mapping).

MRmap is a pure research tool and is not intended for any diagnostic or clinical use.

STIR

Rating:
No votes yet

STIR is Open Source software for use in tomographic imaging. Its aim is to provide a Multi-Platform Object-Oriented framework for all data manipulations in tomographic imaging. Currently, the emphasis is on (iterative) image reconstruction in PET, but other application areas and imaging modalities can and might be added.

STIR is the successor of the PARAPET software library which was the result of a (European Union funded) collaboration between 6 different partners (see Credits).

C# ECG Toolkit

Rating:
Your rating: None Average: 2.5 (17 votes)

C# ECG Toolkit is an open source software toolkit to convert, view and print electrocardiograms. The toolkit is developed using C# .NET 1.1 & 2.0. Support for ECG formats: SCP-ECG, DICOM and HL7 aECG.

Vurtigo

Rating:
Your rating: None Average: 3 (3 votes)

Vurtigo is a four-dimensional (3D + time) real-time visualization software for guiding cardiovascular interventions. It is designed to be part of a pipeline that can connect it to a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanner, actively tracked catheters, and navigational devices.

Written in C++ under the GNU Lesser General Public License v2.1, Vurtigo features a plug-in based architecture, allowing developers to extend the software using an interface to manipulate objects within Vurtigo. The software runs on Win32, Linux and Mac OS X.

rxncon

Rating:
Your rating: None Average: 5 (2 votes)

The complexity of cellular networks is an outstanding challenge for documentation, visualisation and mathematical modelling. In this project, we develop a new way to describe these networks that minimises the combinatorial complexity and allows an automatic visualisation and export of mathematical (ODE/rulebased) models.

Features:

  • Automatic visualiztion with Cytoscape.
  • Automatic generation of rule based models for BioNetGen.
  • Storage of biological facts that can be used for modelling.
