Dicom4j

Rating:
Your rating: None Average: 1.3 (3 votes)

The purpose of the dicom4j platform is to provide java components related to the Dicom Standard. For those purpose, the platform is based on 4 areas:

  • framework: framework which implements the standards
  • toolkit: offer ways to easily develop software based on the framework
  • plugins: end-user components which adress commons needs you can find in most dicom applications
  • apps: stand alone applications for end-user or tests purpose

Axial 360

Rating:
Your rating: None Average: 2.3 (4 votes)
  • Axial 360 is an interface engine and connector library that enables health care systems of all types - hospital systems, lab systems, EHRs, HIEs, etc - to share clinical data when it is needed.
  • Axial 360 is built using best-of-bread open source components that enable improved scalability, extensibility, and modularity relative to other interface engines.
  • Axial 360 will feature a library of free “connectors” developed by the open source community, that will reduce the time required to interface with applications.

Snofyre

Snofyre is an open source, service oriented API for creating SNOMED CT enabled applications in Java. It provides a number of SNOMED CT related services out of the box. These services can be used:

  • as a starter for understanding how to add SNOMED CT functionality to an application.
  • to rapidly prototype a SNOMED CT enabled application.

Snofyre API aims to

  • reduce the 'ramp up' time needed to understand
  • and embed SNOMED CT functionality in an application.

STIR

STIR is Open Source software for use in tomographic imaging. Its aim is to provide a Multi-Platform Object-Oriented framework for all data manipulations in tomographic imaging. Currently, the emphasis is on (iterative) image reconstruction in PET, but other application areas and imaging modalities can and might be added.

STIR is the successor of the PARAPET software library which was the result of a (European Union funded) collaboration between 6 different partners (see Credits).

BioSig is an open source software library for biomedical signal processing, featuring for example the analysis of biosignals such as the electroencephalogram (EEG), electrocorticogram (ECoG), electrocardiogram (ECG), electrooculogram (EOG), electromyogram (EMG), respiration, and so on. Major application areas are: Neuroinformatics, brain-computer interfaces, neurophysiology, psychology, cardiovascular systems and sleep research. The aim of the BioSig project is to foster research in biomedical signal processing by providing open source software tools for many different applications.

MRmap

Rating:
Your rating: None Average: 3.2 (14 votes)

MRmap is a flexible software tool that enables T1, T2, and T2* mapping from source images of multiple types of pulse sequences (IR-prepared multi-image T1 mapping, Look-Locker/ TOMROP T1 mapping, MOLLI T1 mapping; single- and multi-echo T2/ T2* mapping).

MRmap is a pure research tool and is not intended for any diagnostic or clinical use.

WEKA
