The Release Validation Framework is an useful tool for validating SNOMED CT RF2 packages – SNOMED International is open-sourcing the Release Validation Framework in order to allow people to extend it as they require for their own purposes. Non-standard packages (such as translated content), therefore, will need additional assertions adding by the user in order to validate all scenarios.

IHE Gazelle Tools

The Gazelle project is aimed at developing testing tools for IHE. This tools shall test the interoperability of medical systems and the compliance of the messages send bu those systems with standards recommended by IHE.

Gazelle is replacing Kudu, the tool that was first designed to manage IHE connectathon.

The DHIS 2 is a tool for collection, validation, analysis, and presentation of aggregate statistical data, tailored (but not limited) to integrated health information management activities. It is a generic tool rather than a pre-configured database application, with an open meta-data model and a flexible user interface that allows the user to design the contents of a specific information system without the need for programming. DHIS 2 and upwards is a modular web-based software package built with free and open source Java frameworks.
