Project description: 

The National Cancer Institute (NCI) has launched the caBIG initiative to accelerate research discoveries and improve patient outcomes by linking researchers, physicians, and patients throughout the cancer community. The caBIG community has developed and released a variety of bioinformatics tools of which an overview is available here. For more details refer to the Open Source Project Site (> 400 projects) of the National Cancer Institute's Center for Bioinformatics (NCICB)
