NHS England Open Source Open Day

Details

Following the success of the first NHS England Open Source Programme Open Day in London this June, we are returning for a second event this November, in Newcastle.

The first year of the Programme has bought numerous Open Source systems to NHS Organisations as well as a greater understanding and acceptance of Open Source solutions. This next event will deliver an update from the NHS England Open Source team on the achievements that have been shared across NHS Trusts, including successful bids from the NHS Technology Funds. You will also hear from the growing number of Open Source suppliers and implementation partners engaged in the programme.

The event is open to all Health Professionals interested in the NHS Open Source Programme. The full agenda for day is being finalised and will follow shortly.

Background information

The NHS England Open Source Programme is creating a diverse range of solutions to increase choice, improve clinical practice and enhance patient engagement, including EHR, ePrescribing, departmental systems such as electronic observations, ophthalmology and integrated cross community portal solutions.
